All City Kids Music teachers have been trained by the Center for Music and Young Children in Princeton, New Jersey and are registered to teach Music Together®.

 
DIRECTOR PAM CECIL
Director Pam Cecil¸ performed in the Broadway companies of "La Cage Aux Folles", "42nd Street", "Can Can", and in the national tour of "A Chorus Line". She was a soloist and featured actress in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas and Easter shows, and also played numerous musical and dramatic roles in regional theater, most notably at the Williamstown Theatre Festival and the Walnut Street Theatre. Commercials, soaps, film, and voice-overs are also among her professional credits. A Music Together center director for eight years, Pam is also a certified level 1 MT teacher.
 
Donetta Riley, a singer, actor, and improviser, holds an M.F.A. in Theatre Arts, with an emphasis in teaching from the University of Louisville. Donetta has seven neices, two nephews, two grand-nieces and two-god children. She teaches Music Together in Washington Heights and Brooklyn, as well as her own theatre arts program for children, Destination Imagination.

SUSAN RYAN
Susan Ryan received her BFA in Acting from New York University (TSOA-Experimental Theatre Wing). She is trained in the "Viewpoints" movement techniques of both Anne Bogart and Mary Overlie and has also trained with the SITI Company in New York and in Saratoga Springs. Susan has performed in off-Broadway productions and is a professional vocalist who performs regularly in New York City. She discovered Music Together through her son Dylan, who loved the program so much that she decided to become a Music Together Teacher!
 
Stephen Taylor grew up in Boston and graduated in 2000 from Middlebury College with a degree in economics. He has been teaching Music Together since 2002 and lives in Brooklyn with his wife and two cats. He is also a multimedia artist whose work can be seen and heard on his website, www.supergood.org.

SATYA BHABHA
Shaina Murphy passionately describes her two favorite things as being music and children. She earned a BA in Voice Performance from Syracuse University and a Masters of Music in musical theater from the Boston Conservatory. She has studied voice, piano, acting and dance extensively. Shaina completed her training with the Center for Music and Young Children in 2005.

Shaina has performed in musical theatre and opera productions, as well as doing extensive concert and church work around the US. When not performing or teaching Music Together, Shaina can be found directing the youth choir at St. John's Episcopal Church in McLean, VA and teaching voice/music lessons to children and teens.

 

Kathleen Kilbane has a BA in Music from Smith College and a MM in vocal performance from New England Conservatory.  She has performed in theaters throughout the Northeast and is an active freelance singer.  She also teaches in the after-school music program at the Caedmon School.  Her three children have all taken Music Together classes; Kathleen loves to introduce the fun of MT to other families.

JULIE AVERILL
Julie Averill holds a degree in education from the University of Hartford and a degree in music performance from Manhattan School of Music. She has 10 years early childhood teaching experience, and continues to teach general pre-school in NYC.
